He choked and his eyes were full of tears, and with a trembling voice he said I remember it as if it has just happened, this is the way he ended the story, the story of a nine years old boy from a small village called Eilaboun (Eilabun), in Palestine 1948, the story of my father, when he was a refugee.
'When it all began' is the in production long version of the short documentary 'The Sons of Eilaboun', it is a film that tells the story of the human toll that Plan Dalet claimed on in a single village of the 531 Palestinian villages. The story is told through the mouths of the men and women who witnessed the atrocities committed on that fall day in 1948.
